Two major things happened this weekend. I let Katie cut my hair SHORT! and I cleaned up and rearranged my sewing area. I now have my area staged with projects and organized for short bursts of sewing times.
YAY!!!! I am sure the area looks organized and ready for creativity. Wish I lived closer so I could play! I think I will get out my sewing machine tonight. I'm working on a hat right not for the colder weather coming up.
Tonight I plan to finish the Lucy Christmas book pockets. I have been working on the Roth afghan in my free time and am happy to report its over a foot long now. My goal is to be finished by Thanksgiving so am feeling the deadline looming.
Welcome! This is the part of my world where pieces of me become part of the tapestry of my life that is my family and friends. Fabric, buttons, thread, yarn, needles, pins and my favorite coffee cup are a staple in life. I hope to record all of the pieces of me that are put into the fabric art.
Come for a quick peek; visit with me by sharing your comments, stay awhile so that we may become friends. The coffee pot is on, the cups are in the cupboard, the fabric stash is ready to be shared and the dreaming of projects yet to be finished is limitless.
